While building a new school, Oxford faced a dilemma: how to overcome a budget shortfall threatening their plans to create a digital learning environment. A partnership with Johnson Controls was the solution, leading to the first LEED Silver certified high school in Mississippi. RESOURCES BELOW

The Energy Services Agreement with Johnson Controls allowed school leaders in Oxford, MIssissippi to build with the end in mind. They used future energy savings generated from installing more energy-efficient systems, such as the Metasys® Building Management System and a modular central utility plant. The savings more than cover any additional first costs associated with creating a more sustainable facility.
